Biography:
Marissa Hill is an Executive Producer and Editor at Shade Studios. She is a former NCAA Volleyball player and proud of the collection of over 300 VHS tapes growing up as a kid not too far from where Twin Peaks was filmed.
She is also the host at ShadeTV, the #1 female-led channel that sits at the intersection of pop culture, fashion and sneakers. She has a BA in Broadcast Communications and a minor in African History.
With Shade Studios, she has continuously covered prestige film festivals like Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, NYFF, TIFF and more. Marissa has hosted film industry panels at San Diego Comic Con and the Sundance Film Festival and is a three-time featured speaker VidCon (2023, 2024 and 2025) in Anaheim.
