It talks about family, grief (and how to cope with it), and appreciating the little things in life. Michelle Pfeiffer is simply divine, as is Kurt Russell. A series to be enjoyed in the best style of the genre as it was in the 80s, without woke nonsense, LGBT, or racial issues, just the purest and most delicious family, personal, and relationship drama. The only thing I didn't like were the two useless, frivolous daughters who added nothing to the story. It seems Sheridan likes to mirror this type of american woman in his series, but it doesn't work cause in every series he's done this, the series loses a lot of quality, but he keeps insisting on it. I hope Taylor Sheridan doesn't ruin everything in a second season. And since a good portion of the leftist liberal trash critics also didn't like this series, it made me like it even more.
