05/19/2015 good pic has an almost doc like quality See more 12/13/2011 un godard comme on les aime See more 05/22/2010 It was highly abstract thematic sketches mostly dealing with characters struggling to understand their "Place On Earth" revolving around Godard's narrations (mostly musings on Life and Death), akin to [i]2 Or 3 Things I Know About Her[/i], though somewhat less organized. Jean-Luc himself plays a pretty funny character, and the film certainly has its moments, but largely of this particular variation of Godard cinema (the sketch/essay type film), [i]2 or 3 Things[/i] is much stronger in terms of subject matter and execution. [i]Keep Your Right Up[/i] is an interesting film, but I wouldn't call it one of his essentials. Not exactly a recommendation, I know, but I hope it provides some insight. See more 08/13/2009 This film tries to express artists' general distaste for their work and death all at the same time. It feels horrible which I guess means he succeeded. Compares his work to a crappy French 80's indie band and says that for anything to come from nothingness was a miracle. This movie doesn't feel like a miracle. See more 03/21/2009 Drole et profond.
