This third and by no means final run has become so soft and gooey it melted into a sentimental puddle. Go to Full Review

Shrinking squanders its shot, mainly because -- much like Jimmy himself -- it can’t commit. In small doses, that means setting up great opportunities for situational comedy without delivering enough laughs. Go to Full Review

While Shrinking has its moments of greatness, the series is -- by and large -- an unapologetically soapy confection best enjoyed, like most sweet things, in moderation. Go to Full Review

Though there is a bit of repetition in a couple story beats, the majority of the season offers more gently funny and genuinely emotional plotlines powered by its wonderful cast. Go to Full Review

gabriel L. @CueTheCritic 10h Strong acting, weak judgment. When a show normalizes stuff that should be off limits, it stops being entertainment. See more Noel Y. @zoned_in 10h A roller coaster of emotions that anyone can relate to. It touches the soul and engages in all human topics brilliantly. S great show See more Todd C. @ActionJackson123 22h One of the best shows out there, hands down. It gives you all the feels and you’re always wanting more. By the time this show ends its run, it will be in my top 10 favs of all time. Watch it and thank me later. See more Kelly M. @klm1113 1d Everything I would ever want in a show See more Michael E. 2d Season three of Shrinking feels like it’s lost its heart. What once balanced humor with emotional depth now plays more like a string of punchlines and short comedy skits. The characters still crack jokes, but the warmth, vulnerability, and quiet moments that made the show resonate seem to be missing. At times, it veers dangerously close to becoming a Chuck Lorre–style sitcom—big laughs, fast beats, but little emotional payoff. The soul that grounded the earlier seasons has been replaced by a louder, thinner version of itself, making the season surprisingly tough to watch. It’s a real shame. Shrinking used to be great—funny, yes, but also sincere and human. Season three feels like a step away from what made the show special in the first place.
