Theroux’s task is to try to chip away at their macho façades, and hopefully show us the vulnerable lost boys beneath. To some extent, he succeeds. Go to Full Review

Inside The Manosphere isn’t that remarkable, often failing to push its subjects to reveal an inner or actual truth, but it does dive into a disturbing counter culture we should all be very afraid of. Go to Full Review

I have to give a lot of credit to Theroux's interview style. It is not aggressive, but quietly persistent. Go to Full Review

Joss A @RT48646409 19h Definitely recommend it - especially for men and boys. Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere is a calm, unsettling, sharply observed look at the toxic performance of modern masculinity and the influencers selling it as truth. Theroux’s measured approach lets these men expose themselves, and that restraint makes the film more disturbing, and more valuable, than a louder takedown would have been. It’s not always an easy watch, but it feels like essential viewing for anyone trying to understand how this rhetoric spreads and why it lands. See more Mick S @RT83759548 1d The documentary touches on toxic masculinity, but does not fully interrogate how deeply embedded & sophisticated these ideologies have become. What is missing is a deeper exploration of the pipeline, how young men are gradually pulled in through more mainstream, seemingly benign figures like Joe Rogan & Jordan Peterson. These figures often act as gateways, normalising certain narratives before audiences are exposed to more extreme content. Crucially, the documentary also falls short in examining the real world consequences of this culture, particularly for women. There is little focus on how these ideas translate into behaviour, or the very real fear many women feel as misogynistic attitudes become more visible & normalised among younger generations. This is where the film feels incomplete. It opens the door, but does not go far enough. The manosphere is an ecosystem with tangible social consequences, & that complexity deserved a much deeper dive. See more Connie A @RT09317051 2d Wow!! I’m am amazed that these guys actually went willingly in this program. Incredible egos and sad to see these poor women with them being dehumanised. I have a son and if he actually acted like these guys I would personally disown him. Thankfully I don’t associate with nasty little men like this. They are con artists and nasty ones at that. See more Linus H @linus1335f 2d A good look at a dark side of reality. Wish it could have dug a bit deeper though, there is still so much I dont understand. See more Shorebaby T @RT54647644 2d I guess the only thing these guys have in common, is an eternal trip to hell. This is all so sickening. See more Leah J @Leah23 3d They really showed themselves up without Louis even trying lmao See more Read all reviews
