The drivers fight for position as they all try to be first to get the checkered flag and reach victory lane, as profiled in NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience. Capturing all of the behind-the-scenes action of race day in the garages, the filmmakers are able to provide an insider's look into what it takes to put on an event of this magnitude. The IMAX®3D camera, one of only 3 in the world, is positioned at the top of the stands in order to provide an overall perspective of what itÕs like to be at a race with more than 100,000 NASCAR fans. To catch the fast moving race cars, the production crew utilizes the Shotmaker, a sophisticated camera crane mounted on a truck platform which allows them to move, pan and truck with the action.
