Critics Consensus

A middling sci-fi entry, Skyline offers proof that solid special effects alone cannot overcome a flat storyline filled with uninspired dialogue.

It’s low-budget fare that, much like the aliens in the movie, disguises itself with glimmering blue surfaces if only to slowly suck your brains out. Go to Full Review

thiago s @Thiagostone 4d Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Matsu M @Matsumura Jan 17 It's simply a very bad movie that I can't say anything really good about accept that it has a couple of okay effects, but anybody can do this today. It's made by two special effects artists; they are not movie makers. Don't waste your time. See more E G Oct 4 Really cool movie. Glad I didn't listen to all the dumb hating reviews. Yeah it starts a bit slow but the action, creatures, cgi is pretty enjoyable. A little more action would've been nice but I've seen way worse movies that had much bigger budgets. This is a movie I can watch more than once. See more Sarah W Aug 2 What a total waste of time. Do yourself a favor and don't watch this film. Any movie that relies on second-tier TV Actors as its stars is just asking to suck. And this movie is no different. Great visual effects, terrible story, so many missed opportunities for mediocrity, and oh, the acting is deplorable. That said, when acting is so bad across the board, you have to look at the director. Not *everyone* could be that bad. But if everyone is being directed badly, then well... there you have it. If I could give it zero stars, I would. See more Robert Jul 19 Cloverfield mixed with War of the Worlds and Independence Day. Took a long time to get going. Character development is non existent just like the acting. Really didn't care what happens to them. This type of film has been done times and done much better. See more michael p @Labspeciman Feb 23 This is an upgrade to War of the Worlds. But the story is terrible. So much potential with great actors wasted. They were safe in the building so what did they do? They left the building. Just skip it.. See more Read all reviews
