Shane Abbess' familiar but diverting indie sci-fi action-adventure details the intergalactic consequences of corporate malfeasance. Go to Full Review

A perfectly serviceable B-movie. Go to Full Review

A cellblock riot, a spaceship dogfight, a bar brawl, a hospital trauma, violent encounters with C.G.I. beasts - there is little Mr. Abbess won't toss into this delirious, overheated stew. Go to Full Review

The Osiris Child doesn't stand alone and has little hope of actually continuing beyond its dangling promise of an ending. However, there's a charm and audacity in its ambitions that can't be ignored, either. Go to Full Review

The Osiris Child is definitely a science-fiction epic with a family drama at its center. It feels like the start to something bigger, a world in which many adventures could be had. Go to Full Review

The Osiris Child plays as a derivative space western, with escalating excursions into gunfights that are just video game shoot-em-ups. Despite feeling this movie should work, it doesn't. Go to Full Review

fred g @RT22754745 Jun 17 The acting was great and so was the story. If you can't follow the stories chapters , then you're not good at figuring out movies. I give it 5 stars. It's free on You Tube as of 6/2025 where it has glowing reviews. Teagan Croft is fantastic as Indi , the kid. Great sci -fi and effects. Why this was never released big time is beyond me. See more Matt V @mxv134 10/30/2024 The story was a lot more complex than I anticipated for a B movie. The special effects were fine and the action was good. The ending didn't make much sense...hence the not great review. See more leonel M @LeonelMachado 08/28/2024 I would like to highlight the ridiculous monsters and the plot, which is sometimes meaningless. A clear example of when a film is made that is bigger than its budget. See more Georgan G @RT98616417 05/01/2024 3.25 stars. A pretty good B movie. Why the 99% Australian cast all had American accents is odd. See more 07/20/2021 Almost gave it 3 stars but it's extremely visually stunning scenes at times pushes it over to a recommendation review. This action packed science fiction never stops moving and the high budget makes it a winner! See more 02/03/2021 Ok, this is a B movie. Going in with that expectation, it was good. 3.5 stars here has a correlation of "good" and 4 is "awesome". It resides just north of good. I started it with the expectation to turn it off after 30 minutes and finished it. Acting, story, CGI, all "good". I like B movies, they make me a little more nervous. You kinda know the "star" isn't going to die in mission impossible for example. In B movies, everyone is fair game. See more Read all reviews
