He decides that since proving God exists is impossible, he would prove demons exist and exposes himself to a variety of spells and ceremonies in order to show they do not exist... well, he becomes possessed. See more Gabriel T @GabrielFagundes Apr 21 It has good horror scenes but it uses an overused idea (the atheist who proves himself wrong by facing a demon). It relies on religion and it's quite offensive for atheist people. The best scenes are in the middle of the movie not in the climax, so it becomes unbalanced. It also appears to use ideas from "The exorcism of Deborah Logan" and "The conjuring" in many aspects, what's uncreative. However, some scenes came off decent, despite being a low-budget film, so it's a more or less ok film, but I wouldn't rewatch it. Throw in more blood, murder and maybe an unrated directors cut and this would get better reviews See more Milan B @RT34738681 02/24/2025 I liked this movie, tho far from perfect it has some true sinister shots and a heavy atmosphere which pulls you down with the descent into madness of Michael King, I also think Michael is likeable, and so all the more gripping when he slowly goes toward what the audience obviously already knows, that Michael is getting possessed.
