Typically reboots are bad. But this one still has the juice. Hilarious! The jokes are really similar to the original series. The reviewers that rated it low just got geriatric and old. Lol

While "spin-offs" are so often not worth your time, like the previous attempts, this very much has the feel of the original. Quite enjoyable.

Some heartfelt moments sprinkled in with a few laughs each episode, and while it's a decent watch it's a pale imitation of the original run. J.D., Turk, and Elliott are good, but the new interns aren't funny; and the HR lady is beyond obnoxious.

Ordinarily I'd reserve judgement until after the final episode dropped, but this snapped me back to the original series so quickly, and I resonated so strongly - being middle-aged myself, now :( - that I immediately felt the weight of the last 20+ years drop away and my spouse and I found ourselves laughing to burst, again, just like when we were watching the show in our early days! While there are haters and cynics out there going on about the show "missing the mark" or not living up to the original because of whatever, I strongly recommend anybody who loved and missed the show to dive back in, and, of course, wear a back brace before you soar like an eagle! :D
