Sam Lufkin was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Lufkin found his beginnings in film with roles in "The Battling Orioles" (1924) and "Part Time Wife" (1930). He then acted in "The Music Box" (1932) and "Crack-Up" (1946) with Pat O'Brien. Later in his career, Lufkin acted in the drama "Born to Kill" (1947) with Claire Trevor. Lufkin passed away in February 1952 at the age of 61.
