Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) (2026) 90% 4/5 EDIT “For the uninitiated, "Billie Elish – Hit Me Hard and Soft" provides context for Eilish’s enormous popularity. For fans, it’s pure catnip.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) May 8, 2026 Full Review The Sheep Detectives (2026) 95% 3/5 EDIT “While it tries a bit too hard to be heartwarming, "The Sheep Detectives" is a harmless and likable popcorn flick.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) May 8, 2026 Full Review Remarkably Bright Creatures (2026) 77% 3/5 EDIT “While it’s manipulative and predictable, a strong cast keeps "Remarkably Bright Creatures" afloat.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) May 8, 2026 Full Review Swapped (2026) 72% 4/5 EDIT “"Swapped" is a family film in the best sense, providing thoughtful entertainment that can be enjoyed by all age groups.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) May 1, 2026 Full Review Deep Water (2026) 73% 3/5 EDIT “While it’s overly familiar, director Renny Harlin’s opus "Deep Water" is impressively filmed. It ain’t deep, but disaster movie fans won’t mind.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 30, 2026 Full Review Animal Farm (2025) 27% 2/5 EDIT “This so-called modernized version of "Animal Farm" isn’t for adults who revere Orwell or for kids who couldn’t care less.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 30, 2026 Full Review Fuze (2025) 73% 3/5 EDIT “"Fuze" won’t light any fires but is a zippy bit of escapism.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 23, 2026 Full Review Desert Warrior (2025) 26% 3/5 EDIT “"Desert Warrior" is a historical action flick that desperately wants to be "Lawrence of Arabia," but falls somewhat short.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 23, 2026 Full Review Apex (2026) 67% 3/5 EDIT “While more than competent, "Apex" has a grisly ugliness that can be a bit hard to stomach.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 23, 2026 Full Review Michael (2026) 39% 3/5 EDIT “If you’re looking for an in-depth, warts-and-all biopic about the King of Pop, keep looking. If you want a slick, entertaining reenactment of some great music, then "Michael" is the movie for you.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 23, 2026 Full Review Balls Up (2026) 23% 0/5 EDIT “It’s good to try to find something positive in even the worst movies, but there’s nothing remotely redeeming in the criminally atrocious Amazon Prime comedy, "Balls Up." ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 17, 2026 Full Review The Christophers (2025) 96% 4/5 EDIT “If you want to see two brilliant actors go toe-to-toe, the sly comedy "The Christophers" is the movie for you. ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 17, 2026 Full Review Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026) 47% 2/5 EDIT “Let’s hope it’s a wrap on this version of The Mummy.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 17, 2026 Full Review Thrash (2026) 43% 1/5 EDIT “"Thrash" is no "Sharknado." It’s better than that camp classic, but not as funny. "Thrash" just bites.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 10, 2026 Full Review Hamlet (2025) 71% 3/5 EDIT “Some of the power of The Bard’s poetry is lost when rushed or mumbled to give it a more edgy feel. This "Hamlet" is a respectable mixed bag.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 10, 2026 Full Review Outcome (2026) 28% 2/5 EDIT “"Outcome" is like George Clooney’s recent flick "Jay Kelly," but with a meaner edge.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 10, 2026 Full Review A Great Awakening (2026) 73% 3/5 EDIT “While it glosses over some of controversial aspects of Whitefield’s life and his debatable positions, it’s a thoughtful, well-acted and sometimes moving account aimed at a receptive Christian audience.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 3, 2026 Full Review The Drama (2026) 76% 3/5 EDIT “The scenario of "The Drama" is designed to make you squirm. On that count, it’s very successful.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 3, 2026 Full Review The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026) 42% 3/5 EDIT “The visuals are duly impressive, but the plot of "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" may evaporate from your memory faster than a Mario power-up.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 3, 2026 Full Review André Is an Idiot (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “"Andre is an Idiot" is cleverly made and surprisingly touching given how utterly irreverent and profane it is.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 27, 2026 Full Review A Magnificent Life (2025) 60% 3/5 EDIT “While mildly interesting, "A Magnificent Life" lacks the passion of any of Pagnol’s classic movies.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (2026) 76% 2/5 EDIT “If you wind up watching "Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice," you may wish you could go back in time and skip it.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (2026) 90% 3/5 EDIT “Terrific performers and solid British production values elevate this WWII era melodrama.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review The Pout-Pout Fish (2026) 63% 2/5 EDIT “Toddlers may smile. Parents may snooze.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review Tow (2025) 77% 3/5 EDIT “While it deals with serious issues, "Tow" takes a lighter tone with its treatment of David vs. Goliath social themes.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review
