If “Beef” were solely about the corrosiveness of rage, this season’s rivalry wouldn’t be worth slicing into. But Lee marbles other theories and indictments into his meat concerning the privilege of extreme emotion and behavioral honesty. Go to Full Review

This could all get a bit relentless and wearing, but fortunately the quality of the writing carries it as satire and not as nihilism. Go to Full Review
Graeme Blundell The Australian 1d
At times, it presents situations that are both thought-provoking and disquieting, and as a comedy it’s wry and sardonic rather than laugh-out-loud in effect, the humour dark and bitingly satirical. Go to Full Review

A dark, ambitious return, Beef Season 2 expands into class conflict and toxic relationships with a stellar cast, but loses the emotional precision that made the first season unforgettable. Go to Full Review

Mulligan is terrific as a kind of caustic grifter, determined to get richer and yet contemptuous, in that refined English way, of the bores who’ve made it. Go to Full Review

A standalone story with a new cast and a different conflict, it nevertheless maintains its focus on characters caught in irresistible clashes stemming from everyday situations. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Habibah H @jakescakes 15h They're trying so hard to send emotional messages, but I just turned out so cringeworthy and overdone. nothing like the first season. See more Joshua M @Flameon 23h Where's the beef? This is one of those "creative" series you try to like because the acting is good, but ultimately is a waste of time. See more Donna S @RT70760842 1d Beef season 2 achieves something remarkably rare. It works as compelling drama, as social satire, as political critique and as something approaching moral philosophy — and it does all of those things without the seams showing. The Eunice thread alone is constructed with the kind of precision and intentionality you typically only find in the best literary fiction. The way her arc illuminates everything around it without ever becoming didactic is excellent writing.. See more Biren B @RT37009185 1d Slow.. Doesn't live upto Season 1. Best avoided. See more Robert R. @12obert 2d It was interesting, but pretty far fetched. Seasons 1 was way better. See more Daryl D @DmacVisuals 3d Don't drink the OJ! See more Read all reviews
