Hokum (2026) 88% 2.5/4 EDIT “Scott is a fine if fairly one-note grump, and the chills are above the bar, but nothing that will remain noteworthy of the genre. ” – Cambridge Day May 4, 2026 Full Review Deep Water (2026) 73% 2/4 EDIT “[Harlin] again reverts to a banal retread that no one will remember.” – Cambridge Day May 4, 2026 Full Review Mother Mary (2026) 72% 2.5/4 EDIT “The reasons to see “Mother Mary” are Lowery’s all-consuming dreamscapes, Hathaway’s fierce physicality and Coel’s alluring countenance that becomes a frame-filling wonderment.” – Cambridge Day Apr 27, 2026 Full Review Apex (2026) 67% 2/4 EDIT “Theron, chiseled and all in for the part, nearly saves it, but the Ben invention is just an avalanche of psycho mumbo jumbo. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 27, 2026 Full Review I Swear (2025) 97% 3.5/4 EDIT “Directed with care by Kirk Jones (“Nanny McPhee,” “Waking Ned Devine”), warmth and a necessary layer of honest grit, “I Swear” is most assuredly not your typical feel-good heart-string-tugger. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 27, 2026 Full Review Balls Up (2026) 23% 1.5/4 EDIT “Wahlberg is often stiff and pretty much the same onscreen persona he always is, at home in middling streaming fare that’s not going anywhere. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 27, 2026 Full Review Over Your Dead Body (2026) 68% 2.5/4 EDIT “The movie may be even more gruesome than its Norwegian inspiration, though “Dead Body” somehow manages to make whimsy from the severing of fingers, ears and noses. Turns out romantic separation is always messier than it has to be. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 27, 2026 Full Review Hamlet (2025) 71% 3/4 EDIT “The Ahmed-Karia effort smolders. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 13, 2026 Full Review Thrash (2026) 43% 2/4 EDIT “It’s a flimsy, ephemeral time lapse that swims by in an entertainingly compatible 90 minutes. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 13, 2026 Full Review The Drama (2026) 76% 2.5/4 EDIT “The one thing “The Drama” is not: predictable. It’s also surprisingly funny in awkward, uncomfortable ways. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 3, 2026 Full Review Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (2026) 76% 1.5/4 EDIT “It's as insulting to the viewer as it is to Wong [Kar-Wei]. ” – Cambridge Day Apr 2, 2026 Full Review Project Hail Mary (2026) 94% 3/4 EDIT “Not all of the pacing and tonalities coalesce but Gosling is the glue for any bumps.” – Cambridge Day Mar 20, 2026 Full Review The Dutchman (2025) 65% EDIT “The film’s title evokes the legend of the doomed Flying Dutchman ship and the legacy of European colonialism: slavery and its corrosive downstream residues. Gaines’s take on Baraka is a daring revival that provokes more than it persuades. ” – Cambridge Day Mar 16, 2026 Full Review War Machine (2026) 68% EDIT “As gonzo as that pivot is, it’s the defibrillator jolt needed to make the film remotely interesting again. ” – Cambridge Day Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Sirāt (2025) 90% 3.5/4 EDIT “The ensemble’s nuanced performances are restrained and inward, grounding the film’s metaphysical inquiry in palpable human vulnerability. ” – Cambridge Day Mar 16, 2026 Full Review THE BRIDE! (2026) 57% EDIT “Gyllenhaal’s reimagining is a feminist anthem that screams at the patriarchy. Her aim is true, but it’s buried in spectacle.” – Cambridge Day Mar 12, 2026 Full Review Paul McCartney: Man on the Run (2025) 100% 3/4 EDIT “Neville’s post-Beatle portrait props up a McCartney who’s puckish and brash but also complex and vulnerable” – Cambridge Day Mar 12, 2026 Full Review The Bluff (2026) 55% 2/4 EDIT “It’s half-baked, hackneyed mid-1800s high seas mush.” – Cambridge Day Mar 12, 2026 Full Review Pillion (2025) 99% 3.5/4 EDIT “Both Ray and Colin display a complex vulnerability, and have a nuanced chemistry that gives the film for all its an uneasy tenderness. Leather and lash may not be your cup of tea, but the exposed, yearning heart is universal.” – Cambridge Day Feb 20, 2026 Full Review Crime 101 (2026) 88% 3/4 EDIT “Layton and crew tie things up neatly, but the ending is where the movie is least compelling. The gems in “Crime 101” are stashed along the road.” – Cambridge Day Feb 20, 2026 Full Review Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 81% 2.5/4 EDIT “For a déjà vu movie, “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die,” is spry and packed with enough punchy humor and twists to keep it feeling fresh. ” – Cambridge Day Feb 13, 2026 Full Review The Wrecking Crew (2026) 75% 2/4 EDIT “Much gets wrecked by this crew, but mayhem without meaning just leaves debris. ” – Cambridge Day Feb 13, 2026 Full Review David (2025) 79% 2.5/4 EDIT “It’s crisp animation and tight story-telling.” – Cambridge Day Feb 13, 2026 Full Review Melania (2026) 10% 0.5/4 EDIT “Serves as something of a freakish cultural time capsule and an intriguing bit of social commentary—as much for what it says as for what it doesn’t.” – Cambridge Day Feb 3, 2026 Full Review Arco (2025) 93% 3/5 EDIT “The tender bond between Arco and Iris, two lonely kids centuries apart, longing for companionship, holds our attention against the environmental degradation. ” – Cambridge Day Feb 2, 2026 Full Review
