At a remote estate in upstate New York, newlyweds Leah (Ella Rae Peck) and Shane (Rigo Garay) celebrate their honeymoon, but a pall hangs over their union. She works for the publisher who will be releasing his debut novel, a lightly autobiographical examination of family trauma, alcoholism, and the immigrant experience. Barely suppressed tensions over family trauma would be enough kindling for a blowup, but Leah and Shane's marriage is truly tested by the appearance of two weirdos with entrepreneurial zeal and a half-baked blackmail plot: John (John Speredakos) and Rose (Lorraine Farris). They're looking for investors for John's latest invention, a culinary breakthrough called the Crumb Catcher -- and they won't take no for an answer.

Crumb Catcher is a quirky blend of offbeat dark comedy and home-invasion thriller. The premise is so ridiculous that it only amplifies the film's darker edge. The ending didn't quite stick the landing but it's a very unique watch that I recommend.

In a time when so many movies are the same, this one was different. It had a great cast, beautiful camera work, and fantastic pacing. Reminds me of why independent films are so important today!

Insane romp that ratchets up the tension to a breaking point and then just keeps it going unrelentingly. Truly original story and great work by the actors. The over the top performance of John Speredakos as the psycho waiter was beyond excellent. This is also a movie that can be appreciated equally by both high and low brow horror fans.
